eToro has completely rebuilt its mobile app and launched a new version that puts artificial intelligence at the centre of everyday investing.

The new app was unveiled at an event in London in early July. According to the company, the entire platform was rewritten with the help of AI tools, replacing older code with a faster, more personal experience. Users now get clearer portfolio views, richer information on individual stocks and crypto, improved charts, and better ways to customise how the app works for them.

One of the biggest changes is the expanded role of Tori, eToro’s AI investing companion. It can now remember previous conversations, pull in real-time market sentiment from X, and help users create and manage automated investment strategies. The company is also rolling out “agentic trading” — AI agents that can trade on a user’s behalf around the clock inside separate sub-accounts, while the investor keeps overall control.

For people who prefer a more hands-on approach, eToro has also released a new desktop platform aimed at active traders, with professional-grade charting tools. On the crypto side, the firm continues to expand self-custody options following its acquisition of the Zengo wallet earlier this year.

eToro remains particularly popular in the UK for its CopyTrader feature, which lets users automatically mirror the portfolios of more experienced investors. The social and copy-trading side of the platform still attracts large numbers of retail investors looking for a simpler way into the markets.

The timing of the new app comes as more ordinary people in places like Ealing look for accessible ways to invest, whether through stocks, ETFs or a small allocation to crypto. While the technology is becoming more sophisticated, the usual warnings still apply: markets can go down as well as up, and past performance is never a guarantee of future results.

For now, the new AI-first app marks one of the biggest product updates eToro has made in recent years, and it is already available to download.
