Forest deploys 900 e-bikes across Ealing with £1 rides until end of August and new enforcement
Forest has officially launched in the London Borough of Ealing with 900 e-bikes (initially available in West Ealing, North Acton and Southall, with further areas to follow). Rides starting in Ealing cost £1 until the end of August 2026. The new Forest Force initiative will target pavement riding, red-light jumping and poor parking.
Forest has officially launched in the London Borough of Ealing with 900 e-bikes (initially available in West Ealing, North Acton and Southall, with further areas to follow). Rides starting in Ealing cost £1 until the end of August 2026.
The new Forest Force initiative will target pavement riding, red-light jumping and poor parking. The four-stage enforcement process ranges from a warning to a £20 penalty, a two-week suspension or a permanent ban. Ealing Council was not involved in developing the scheme but will review data and resident complaints to identify priority locations.
Ealing now forms part of the largest connected e-bike zone in London, linking with Brent, Hounslow and Hammersmith & Fulham.
